How many guests can attend a wedding at Delightful Acres Weddings & Events?
We can comfortably seat up to 400 guests, and we’re open to work with clients to choose the best layout for their guest count. With this much space, we can also create a magical layout for your intimate weddings of 50 people or more.
What are the clean-up requirements after an event at Delightful Acres Weddings & Events?
We take care of all of the cleaning with your venue rental! Aside from removing any of your personal items and decor, we handle all of the rest!
Does Delightful Acres Weddings & Events have wifi?
Yes, we have wifi available and display the password for your guests to log in! They can easily capture and share all of the beautiful moments of the time at your special event!
Does Delightful Acres Weddings & Events offer lodging onsite?
We are working to provide lodging and camping onsite starting in Spring 2026, so check back for updates! We are also five minutes from Best Western Plus (Isanti) and other hotel options in nearby cities.
Does Delightful Acres Weddings & Events have onsite parking?
Yes, we have space for over 250 dedicated parking spaces in our parking lot, so parking is no issue for even the largest wedding! We provide a parking attendant while the majority of guests are arriving.
Is Delightful Acres Weddings & Events ADA compliant?
Yes! We offer handicapped parking and our entire facility is ADA compliant and accessible for all guests. Our venue includes an elevator for all guests to be able to access the upper balcony and bridal suite. There are ADA-accessible bathrooms on both the upper and main levels.

How do I reserve Delightful Acres for my event?
To reserve your date you will need to fill out a contract with us and make a 50% retainer payment of the rental fee. This can all be done online or in-person. We accept payments online via credit card or bank draft & by cash, check, or money order. Payments can be done in-person, phone, online, or sent in the mail. The remaining 50% of the rental fee no later than (90) days prior to your event.
Does Delightful Acres Weddings & Events require Event Insurance?
Event insurance is highly encouraged, but not required for weddings at Delightful Acres Weddings & Events. We can provide more information on the benefits of event insurance at your onsite venue tour.
Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?
Tours are offered several days each week by appointment. To schedule a tour call or text message us at 612-600-2155 . You can also schedule a tour by filling out the contact form HERE.
How many hours do I have access to the venue for my event?
You will get use of Delightful Acres Weddings and Events for a 14 hour time block on a 1 day rental (10am - 12pm CST). This includes time for set-up, the event, tear-down, and clean up. Additional requests will be handled on a case by case basis, based on availability.
Are there any limitations on the vendors I can use for my event?
We have an open vendor policy for all vendors, with the exception of our bar service, which is provided by a select vendor. We will provide you with a list of recommended vendors for all types. All vendors do need to be approved by our staff and the caterers must be licensed and insured. We also require that caterers provide full-service catering.
Can I come early to decorate?
You are allowed access to the building when your contracted time starts. When your time block begins, we will have your tables set so you can begin decorating them. If additional time is requested, you can work with your event coordinator from Delightful Acres to find out if and when hourly rental time is available earlier in the day or possibly the day prior to your wedding.
Will Delightful Acres Weddings & Events staff help set-up or tear down decor?
However, we do have an inventory of free decor in-house that you are welcome to use for your event, but you would still be responsible for setup and teardown of these items. We also offer full decor services through our in-house vendor, should you be interested in help to create a magical atmosphere for your wedding.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
Yes, we have enough tables for 400 seated guests (including the wedding party), plus additional tables for desserts, guest book, buffet, etc. 72” round tables and wooden folding chairs are provided with your rental fee, but we also offer other tables and chairs, should you choose to have a more elevated experience in the venue.
Do you provide linens and tableware?
Black or white linens are provided as part of the venue fee, with other colors available for a rental fee. Tableware can be provided, if requested, through our in-house decor service. There is an additional charge for tableware and other decor items through this service.
Am I able to have my rehearsal at the venue?
We include one hour for you to rehearse as part of your venue rental fee, with all rehearsals typically scheduled for Thursdays. If you would like to request a different day for your rehearsal, we can confirm availability 30 days before your event. We do not allow drop-off of decor or other decoration to be completed in this time, unless additional time is arranged with your event coordinator at the venue.
Do we have to set up our own chairs and tables or take them down?
Of course not! We want to take the extra work off your plate, so when you arrive, the initial setup of tables and chairs will be done. If any transitioning of the room from ceremony to reception is needed, we will take care of that flip for you for no additional cost.
Do you only do weddings at Delightful Acres weddings and events in the summer and fall?
Delightful Acres Weddings and Events hosts weddings of any size throughout the year. Our building is fully climate-controlled, so winter weddings can be done entirely inside. Outdoor ceremony locations are only available from May - October, unless the weather permits them in other months. Indoor ceremonies can be done at any time, so even if it rains or is too hot, we can set up your indoor ceremony in our climate-controlled building to make your guests comfortable. Indoor ceremonies are set up and torn down at no additional cost to you!
